Thomas Built Buses are perfect for taking kids to school, to the museum or into the future. Founded in 1916, Perley A. Thomas Bus Works manufactured streetcars and later trolley buses.
The company transitioned to production of school buses in 1936 and added commercial buses and specialty vehicles shortly thereafter. Named Thomas Built Buses, Inc. in 1972, they were acquired by Daimler Trucks North America in 1998.
