Working in partnership with CleanFUEL USA, a leading supplier of alternative fuel infrastructure and propane engine systems, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation is also currently developing a propane chassis for the walk-in van and school bus market.

 

Propane is the most widely used alternative fuel today, powering more than 14 million vehicles around the world so it only makes sense for it to become the next in FCCC’s portfolio of green vehicles. Significant market interest has led to the development of the new chassis and it is expected to be available in vehicles sometime in 2012.
